Welcome to Richards Bay Community Church. We’re so glad to have you here with us!

RBCC has been serving the community of Richards Bay since the early 1980s. Our church was birthed out of a great move of God’s Spirit that swept through South Africa at that time. Since then, we’ve been passionately pursuing God and passionately pursuing family and community. We're a family of people from every tribe and tongue, every generation and different walks of life.

As a Bible-believing, renewal church, we live out our vision in the following ways:

Loving His Presence: We believe that we’re called to know God intimately and encounter Him daily. We’re living in the days where God is seeking true worshippers (John 4:23-24) and we deeply desire to live a lifestyle of true worship that blesses God's heart.

Practically, that means that we're made to walk in relationship with God, know Him through His Word, and love and encounter Him through a lifestyle of surrender. When we gather, be it in our homes or in our auditorium, we make encountering God a priority through Scripture, worship and ministry.

Loving His People: Our relationship with our King must lead to transformation of our lives and of our world around us. As sons and daughters of God, we’re called to be world changers, Kingdom advancers and disciple makers (Matt 28:18-20).

That also means that we value community, being a family church and impacting our world. We have ministries aimed at ministering to all age groups and, to live as a Kingdom community, we have Connect Groups that gather weekly across our city. We love being family and having a good old braai as well.

Reaching beyond our church walls, we have ministries such as Whole Life to assist the needy and various other outreaches. One of our key ministries is our school, Richards Bay Christian School, which has been a beacon of truth and Christian education in our region for over thirty years.
